So sorry.

I do apologize for not posting much over the last month. To be honest, not much has been going on over here lately. Other than a last minute trip home to California to visit family and friends, which was amazing, we haven’t been doing much. Mostly because of the weather, I think. The famous London weather has been rearing it’s ugly, gray, wet, head. In my world it really is not supposed to rain in July.

On another note, I realized that I have not posted an update on the chilli plant progress (I’m sure you are dying to know how the little buggers are doing). Check out this post and this one as a little reminder. Well, after about 2.5 months of waiting and watching the chilli plant was showing little progress so we decided that chilli food was needed. We did a little research, found the ideal stuff and then ordered at chilli starter kit which included the plant food. We figured that we could use the started kit to grow a few more plants since we were having so much fun with the first one. Well, as you can see by the pictures below, it has gotten a little out of control. Our entire window sill in now lined with chilli plants of 4 different varieties. The building across from us probably thinks we are doing something illegal.

Unfortunately, although the plants are all growing big and strong, they are not producing anything! I’m really getting frustrated. I’m just about ready to toss them all and give up on this ridiculous endeavor.

We have even gone so far as pinching off growth to force flower production and hand pollinate the few little flowers that popped out (I can’t believe I now know this stuff). But still, nothing. It has been over four months since we started this. Should we give up?
