Borough Market

One of my most favorite things to do is visit a farmer’s market. It makes me so happy to see all the fresh veggies and fruit, home baked goods, salami, cheese, olives and flowers. Vendors will usually give you a taste of what they are selling so you fill up with yummy food as you walk around and take in all the loveliness. England has more markets than you can count and London has several big ones, one being Portobello Market which we lived about 200 feet from for the first two years we lived here. The best one though, is Borough Market by London Bridge. If you ever come to London make a point to visit this market. Fridays and Saturdays are the days to come and the earlier the better because it gets packed! How could you not be inspired to cook great food, or at least attempt to make great food, with all this pretty food ready for you to take home?
